HSK Elementary Practice

HSK Elementary Practice is designed to prepare learners to take the HSK Elementary-Intermediate Level and attain Elementary Certificate Level A or B, or Intermediate Certificate Level C (overall HSK Level 6, 5, or 4, respectively).

What you can say or do after studying this course:

After attaining a Certificate of HSK Elementary-Intermediate, you will have the following opportunities:

• Get a job requiring elementary competence in Chinese (used by employers to evaluate Chinese proficiency)
• Get a bachelor's degree in liberal arts, literature, history, or traditional Chinese medicine from a college or university in China (Intermediate Level C only)
• Be exempt from taking certain language courses in China

After this class, you'll be able to handle all the basic necessities of daily life and study in China, as well as participate in a broad range of social activities.

You'll feel very competent with the fundamentals of listening, speaking, reading, and writing Chinese.

Who should take this course:

For students who have completed up through Intermediate Chinese, or equivalently, already have a basic foundation that covers 2000-5000 basic Chinese words included within Level A and B in the HSK Vocabulary and Grammar Outlines.
