HSK Basic Practice
Attain HSK Basic Certificate Level A, B, or C
HSK Basic Practice is designed to prepare learners to take the HSK Basic Level and attain Certificate Level A, B, or C (overall HSK Level 3, 2, or 1, respectively).
What you can say or do after studying this course:
After attaining a Certificate of HSK Basic, you will have the following opportunities:
- Get a job requiring basic competence in Chinese (exemption from language testing for hiring decisions)
- Get a bachelor's degree in science, engineering, agriculture, or Western medicine from a college or university in China (Level A only)
- Be exempt from taking certain language courses in China
After this class, you'll be able to adapt the basics of daily life in China, limited learning activities, and simple socializing.
You'll be confident listening, speaking, reading, and writing at a basic, beginner level.
Who should take this course:
For students who have completed Beginner's Chinese and Elementary Chinese, or equivalently, already have a basic foundation that covers 400-3000 basic Chinese words included within Level A and B in the HSK Vocabulary and Grammar Outlines.
