Conversational Chinese uses GuavaTalk's Mandarin 2.0 methodology to rapidly improve each beginner and intermediate students' oral Chinese fluency. Each Chinese lesson is structured around a conversation topic suggested by either the teacher or student. By the end of each class, the student has a whole new vocabulary and grammar list based on only the words and grammar that they need. Using this methodology, we have seen students in our Chinese School make great strides in oral fluency after only a few classes.

Business Chinese is similar to our Conversational Chinese course, except that each lesson is structured around a business situation suggested by the student or teacher. We use our Mandarin 2.0 methodology to teach only the words needed by the student to successfully navigate a particular business situation. These situations could include leading a business meeting, negotiating with a supplier, or conversing in a social setting with a partner. This class is perfect for anyone planning on doing business in China.

Chinese Tutorial is our recommended course for students seeking a strong long-term foundation in Chinese that includes proper pronunciation, grammar, oral and written fluency. Beginner students will use content from one of the most popular Chinese textbooks on the market today, and after receiving some basic instruction, apply the content in fun, effective, and realistic communication exercises guided by their Chinese teacher.

Custom Curriculum is our recommended option for students who have diverse goals that cannot be met by choosing one of our individual courses. Based on your goals, we will create for you a special combination of our courses that will meet your exact learning needs. For example, if your goals are to develop a strong foundation in Chinese characters as well as spoken Chinese, we might recommend that you spend 50% of your class time using our Chinese Tutorial curriculum and 50% using our proprietary Mandarin 2.0 methodology.
